No words from Curtis on this page, just more pictures of the time from Vernon. No captions to say who they were, which seems slightly unlike us. At the back of my mind is the thought that maybe Curtis asked for it to be this way?

Skater in bottom left is John Gomez, to his right is Lee, both Croydon skaters. Lee used to work in m:zone.

The frontside Lipslide is Lee Stewart and i think the backside lipslide could be Jason Maldini

Yeah, John Gomez (tuck knee mute) and Lee Stewart (frontside lipslide). Both Fairfields locals… Lee rode for M-Zone for a while and was on flow from Blueprint in his later years.
John ‘The Baron’ Gomez snowboards in the US, I believe. His brothers ripped as well.

If anyone knows how I can get in contact with either John or Simon Gomez, please email me.
You can reach me at jessefleet at hotmail dot com

the backside lipslide is the one and only ‘JAB’ jon Farmer from manchester on a visit to south bank in the early nineties treating the london crowd to a bit of northern speed and style. Nobody did backside lipslides like r’Jab.

Yeah Jab! Post that poster of his b/s lipslide at the curbs, wearing the yellow Mario tee (was that in Rad??)..

Tom: yes, I think the poster you mention was in Rad. I even think I saw the original print in one of the boxes in my spare room recently.
