A brilliant composite ad for Alex Moul, Death Box wunderkid at the time, Pete Dosset’s new deck and DoDo wheels. And a very prominent Vision patch too — shoe sponsors were probably the coming thing then. Does anyone have any idea who took the picture, please? Several photographers who were destined for great things were emerging in Death Box near Milton Keynes around this time.

This issue is from the time i was losing intreset and finding out about all the stuff the grown ups do.I was the ripe old age of 15.Funny how skating never really leaves you once its got its claws in to you.It was another 13 years before i skated again. This advert has reminded me of loads of things.
Tim do you remeber being interviewed behind the counter at Rom for 01 for london?May not have been you,i’am sure it was.
Do you have anything on the rom and the bones world tour in 88?
Hi Rich,
I don’t think it was me. If it was, I certainly don’t remember it. I don’t THINK I’ve ever been behind the scenes at Rom. But now you’ve got me thinking and planted the idea that maybe it happened!
Re Bone tour — at the moment all I’m able to put on this site are the scanned pages, so if it was in the magazine it should appear at some point. The original pictures and vast amounts of unused material are still buried.
